After the breath taking release of the DC Entertainment’s new superhero ensemble movie Justice League last Saturday at the Comic-Con 2016, San Diego, fans hope to put an end of their downfall misery of the DC Comics franchise after seeing Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice early this year. It is time for DC Comics to do the same as Marvel slowly powers up the plot and became the bootstrap of today. The never-before-seen footage of the all-star film “Justice League” got fans around the world hyped and optimistic of the future set by Warner Bros. to DC Comics as it was released on YouTube later the same day of the Comic-Con 2016. This is the first time that DC cinematic heroes were assembled in a movie directed by Zack Snyder who later on said that the Justice League is currently in production in London and set to hit theatres November 2017. The released Justice League footage draws attention to Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince’s recruitment of the “metahuman” team including The Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg ( Ray Fisher) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa). Ben Affleck who still continues to play Bruce Wayne/ Batman ballyhooed the film together with Gal Gadot as Wonderwoman and Henry Cavil as Superman- putting to an end to unending speculations that his character died off for good at the end of “Batman vs. Superman : Dawn of Justice.”
Moment after the release of the Justice League trailer at the Comic-Con 2016, fans got a first look at the trailer of Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gadot, which highlights the romance within the World War I era and her adventure as Diana Prince as her submissive alter ego. The very first trailer has set fans to high expectations since it is the first ever Wonder Woman motion picture that set to hit theatres June 2017 after its 75 years of existence to DC Comics. Patty Jenkins, the director of Wonder Woman, took a more expansive take on the climax of the film saying “ Like the great origin stories, it has a classic coming of age arc,” she began. “You start with someone who wants to save the world and do the right thing ….. We blended a lot of the different origins together, so the original, and greatly the [1987 George Perez reboot of the character], all of the big ones, really. So it ends up being that she doesn’t realize that she has something to do with the gods. So you’re looking at a god coming into mankind. And what an incredible opportunity, to have a god seeing what mankind is capable of. What an incredible story arc that creates the potential for.
