My Chemical Romance Hints at a Reunion Three Years After Breakup
The internet broke yesterday morning when band My Chemical Romance hinted at what seems to be a reunion. Fans and musicians went insane over the band’s updated profile picture on their Facebook and Twitter. They also shared a 30-second video story with the opening keys from their iconic track “Welcome to the Black Parade. Towards the end of a video, a date, 9/23/16 is revealed. This is their first tweet in more than a year. Three years after their breakup, fans are dying to know whether or not they are getting back together or having a reunion. The “X” marked on the white flag featured in their video teaser might signify the 10th anniversary of TBP. Their album The Black Parade was released on October 23, 2006.
Update: On their Facebook page, MCR announced that neither a tour nor a reunion is stirring up. The teaser is “only a release for the anniversary of The Black Parade.”
